Visual Review

It’s got a look that says it’s taking itself seriously. The color is deep ruby, intense and fitting for its style, with a slightly opaque body that keeps things mysterious just enough. It’s clear, focused, and confidently vibrant in the glass, just what you want when you’re pouring a red that aims to be a dinner table regular.
Aroma Review
Sula Shiraz Cabernet brings energy. Bold and expressive, it leans into a delightful mix of black cherry, cracked pepper, and a splash of strawberry that keeps things fun. It doesn’t try to be overly complex or exotic, but what it does, it does very well. There’s enough variety to keep you sniffing for a second go. The nose quality is very good, clean, punchy, and clearly composed by people who know what they’re doing.

Taste Review
It’s a dry wine, and everything is sitting nicely in the medium range: body, alcohol, tannins, viscosity. Acidity leans on the lighter side, making it an easy sipper. Flavor intensity is strong, and it manages to stay balanced throughout. The complexity is moderate, which is actually perfect for the price and purpose. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. The finish is pleasant, moderate, and, thankfully, doesn’t overstay its welcome.
There’s a familiar note that creeps in, that slightly bitter, green capsicum taste that seems to sneak into way too many bottles from India (storage problem maybe?). But here’s the good news: it behaves itself. Give it an hour or so to breathe and it mellows out, letting the fruit and spice lead the conversation.
All in all, the Sula Shiraz Cabernet is a classic, and I mean that in the best way. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it rolls just fine. A solid wine with very good quality, reliable charm, and enough personality to make you open a second bottle. Just don’t skip the decanting step
