Visual Review

The first impression already feels like an occasion. The deep ruby colour is rich and almost impenetrable, giving the glass a dramatic presence that leaves little room for subtlety. It looks exactly how a serious Cabernet Sauvignon should look, dense, confident and impossible to ignore. Then there is the bottle itself, which arrives with enough weight to qualify as gym equipment. Thankfully it is sealed with a real cork, still a pleasant rarity in India, so make sure a corkscrew is within reach before you start admiring it for too long.
Aroma Review
The aromas waste no time making themselves known. Waves of cassis, blackberry and black cherry build layer after layer, creating a nose that keeps unfolding with every swirl. The oak is impossible to miss, adding spice, toast and structure, although it occasionally pushes itself a little too enthusiastically into the conversation. Even so, everything feels polished and beautifully integrated, making each return to the glass reveal another small detail.

Taste Review
On the palate, this is a full bodied, unapologetically dry Cabernet that delivers impressive concentration without becoming exhausting. The acidity stays comfortably in the background while medium tannins provide grip without rough edges. The oak again makes a bold statement and could have shown a touch more restraint, but the remarkable balance between fruit, structure and length keeps everything firmly on course. It is a wine that invites slow drinking and rewards patience rather than rushing to the next glass.
This bottle confidently evokes the style of a solid Bordeaux, except one that would probably cost far less in a French supermarket than many people expect from wines carrying that reputation. It also has enough structure to evolve nicely over the coming years if you can resist opening it immediately. This is an outstanding Indian Cabernet Sauvignon that proves ambition, craftsmanship and genuine character can comfortably share the same bottle.
