Visual Review

The first look at this Grover Art Collection Shiraz is quite flattering. The color itself is intense and fits perfectly with its style, helped by a vivid fruity glow that immediately catches the eye.

Aroma Review

The aromas jump in with enthusiasm. The intensity is pronounced and brings some variety, offering deep blackberry notes that roll in right away. There is a touch of vanilla that softens the edges, and a lift of black pepper aromas that tries its best to add character. The overall nose quality is very good and quite inviting.

Taste Review

On the palate, the experience becomes more cautious. The acidity is very light, keeping things mellow, while the body and alcohol sit comfortably in a medium zone. The tannins are very light, almost shy, and the viscosity stays light too. The wine is dry, yet the structure feels a bit hesitant. The flavor intensity is distinct enough, although the balance sits slightly off-balance, giving the impression that the elements are not fully working together. The complexity is moderately complex, and the finish turns moderate and unpleasant, with a bitter persistence that quickly suggests moving on to something different.

The overall tasting experience is moderately enjoyable. The wine is very green and young, and the strong alcohol sensation pushes forward more than it should. It lacks texture and personality, and even though some of the aggressive edges may soften with age, it is unlikely to gain much in terms of aromatics or true harmony.
