Visual Review

The Deccan Plateau Shiraz makes a confident first impression, with a very opaque, deep ruby colour that looks intense and perfectly suited to the style. There is plenty of visual depth here, and it certainly does not look like it came to the glass to whisper..
Aroma Review
The nose is pronounced and immediately appealing, offering subtle blackberry alongside refreshing mint and liquorice. There is a pleasing sense of freshness and youth, with enough aromatic variety to keep things interesting. The overall nose quality is very good, bright and inviting without becoming overly complicated.

Taste Review
On the palate, this is a dry, light bodied Shiraz with medium acidity, light tannins and gentle warmth from the alcohol. Its light viscosity keeps it fresh and easy going, while the distinct flavours remain nicely focused. The balance works particularly well, giving the wine an enjoyable flow without trying to make a dramatic production out of it.
The complexity is average, but that feels perfectly acceptable here. Not every wine needs to write a novel. What matters is that the finish is moderately long and pleasant, leaving a clean, refreshing impression. There is also good potential for ageing, which adds an optimistic note to an already enjoyable experience.
