Visual Review

A deep, intense purple, striking enough to demand attention yet just transparent enough to keep things intriguing. It’s clear, vibrant, and absolutely appropriate for what you’d expect from a Syrah.
Aroma Review
The pronounced intensity hits you immediately, bringing along a mix of ripe blackberries, black pepper, and a touch of liquorice. It’s youthful, fresh, and while there’s some varietal character shining through, it doesn’t try too hard to be overly complex. Let’s just say, the nose alone is enough to make you eager for that first sip.

Taste Review
The body is full, the alcohol warmth is definitely present (you won’t forget it anytime soon), and the tannins sit comfortably in the medium range. Acidity keeps things balanced, the wine is dry and structured, it’s got a distinct flavor intensity, though complexity remains fairly average. The finish is long…ish, but not exactly memorable, lingering just enough to remind you of its presence, with an unfortunate touch of bitterness that overstays its welcome.
With clear inspiration from Northern Rhône and a touch of Viognier in the mix, Rasa Syrah delivers an enjoyable experience with good ageing potential. While it won’t redefine the genre, it’s a solid, no-nonsense take on the style—one that does the job well, if not exceptionally.
