Pomona’s Mango unfolds with a notable thickness, contributing to a substantial mouthfeel. However, the overall impression leans towards the excessively sweet side, potentially overshadowing other nuanced flavors. The addition of pleasant citrus acidity injects a welcome burst of brightness, attempting to balance the sweetness and provide a refreshing element.
Despite this effort, the overall taste experience lacks the intricate layers that can elevate a wine to a more sophisticated level. A somewhat disappointing aspect emerges as an unpleasant bitterness follows the initial sweetness, disrupting the overall harmony. Unfortunately, Pomona’s Mango also lacks length in the mouth, leaving the palate with a fleeting impression rather than a lingering finish.
