Pitbull Rum

Crafted by Konkan Agro Marine Industries near Aurangabad, Pitbull rum is adorned with superb packaging and an intriguing storyline centered around the breed, and captures attention from the start. However, beyond the riveting exterior, the excitement fades quickly. Pitbull Rum reveals a very limited palette of aromas and flavors, failing to deliver the depth and complexity anticipated. Regrettably, the overall experience falls short of being truly enjoyable.

Big Banyan L'angoor wine review

Tasting Notes:

Appealing amber color with a deep hue. Pitbull rum presents a transparent appearance, its viscosity is evident through the formation of thin legs. Additionally, there is a subtle touch of caramel color, adding to its overall visual appeal.
It presents a diverse range of aromas, offering a complex olfactory experience. It carries hints of caramel and banana, accompanied by a deep orange fragrance. A subtle touch of vanilla adds a gentle sweetness, while delicate floral undertones contribute to its aromatic bouquet. The presence of alcohol is noticeable, lending a certain strength to the aroma. There are notes of cinnamon, which impart a warm and slightly spicy scent. Creamy and hazelnut nuances further enhance the overall aromatic profile. Finally, a woody element adds depth and complexity, providing an intriguing sensory experience. The strong agressive alcohol aroma completely disappears after a while.

Pitbull rum presents a diverse range of taste and mouthfeel experiences, offering a complex and intriguing sensory journey. One of us found a velvetish mouthfeel that provides a smooth sensation on the palate. However, there is a noticeable presence of aggressive alcohol, overshadowing to the overall experience. This is accompanied by a bitter aftertaste that lingers for a while. Rest of us found it light-bodied and lacks smoothness, displaying a relatively neutral taste profile with minimal distinct notes. It has a slightly edgy character that may deviate from the initial expectations set by the aroma. It also includes a tingling sensation in the upper mouth and a spicy aftertaste, adding an interesting element to the overall tasting experience. We noticed a prickly mouthfeel with medium thickness, while noting fruity characteristics and subtle caramel notes.
