Visual Review
With a pale ruby color, the Fratelli Cabernet Sauvignon’s hue is notably light and transparent.
Aroma Review
The aroma profile immediately presents a harmonious blend of red fruits, with prominent notes of strawberry taking center stage. Subtle hints of citrus enrich the experience, adding brightness to the overall bouquet, while the presence of berries contributes depth and complexity.
Taste Review
The initial sip of this red wine introduces a somewhat disappointing experience marked by a noticeable lack of tannin and depth, alongside low viscosity. I was expecting a more robust structure yearning for a fuller-bodied sensation, usually found in Cabernet Sauvignon.
On a positive note, the wine showcases decent balance, notable and pleasant dryness, with hints of green capsicum and black olives contributing to the flavor profile. Yet, a subtle undercurrent of bitterness emerges, creating an interesting interplay of tastes for a table wine.
Regrettably, the Fratelli Cabernet Sauvignon’s taste experience lacks the desired length, with the flavors not lingering on the palate as one might anticipate.
