Visual Review

Amaris Sangiovese Reserve certainly makes a promising first impression. The color is rich and intense, with a deep ruby hue.
Aroma Review
On the nose, things stay fairly optimistic. Its aromas are not very intense, but they offer a good mix of red cherry, red plum, and a smoky oak presence. It’s got some variety, nothing wildly complex, but pleasant enough to keep you engaged for a moment.

Taste Review
Then comes the sip, and here’s where expectations take a little hit. The wine is pretty well balanced, with medium acidity, medium body. The tannins are on the lighter side, making it easy to drink, but the flavor intensity doesn’t quite deliver. The fruits feel a bit shy, and for a reserve, you’d hope for something with a bit more depth and personality. The finish is slightly short, that does not help with the experience.
This wine could work in the background of a meal. Perfectly drinkable, but it doesn’t leave a lasting impression. If you’re looking for something to casually sip without overthinking, it does the job. Just don’t expect it to spark any deep conversations.
