Visual Review

The wine sits in the glass with a slightly opaque appearance and a deep ruby hue that feels intense and well judged. The colour is clearly in line with the style, giving a sense of depth and seriousness that invites closer attention rather than casual sipping.
Aroma Review
The nose is where confidence really shows. Aromas rise quickly and with real force, offering a good range without feeling chaotic. Rustic notes of soil come through first, followed by a rich touch of leather. Juicy blueberry notes add some freshness and prevent the profile from becoming too heavy. The aromatic expression is bold and engaging, comfortably the most convincing part of the experience.

Taste Review
On the palate, things become more complicated. Acidity is high and distinctly citric, immediately standing out and flirting with the edge of feeling faulty. Rather than adding lift, it disrupts the flow of the wine and throws the balance slightly off. The body remains medium, tannins are light, and the texture stays lean, with low viscosity and a firmly dry profile. Alcohol shows enough warmth to amplify the acidity, and together they create an aggressive edge that feels hard to ignore
Flavour intensity is noticeable and the wine does offer a certain degree of complexity, but these elements struggle to fully come together. The finish is moderate and pleasant, suggesting some underlying structure, yet the overall tasting experience remains only moderately enjoyable due to the persistent imbalance.
This is clearly not a wine meant to be enjoyed on its own. Adequate food is essential to tame the sharp acidity and alcohol, and in that context, the wine may find a more comfortable place. There is not enough structure to suggest decent ageing potential, patience would sound more like a leap of faith.
