Black cherry leads the way with a deep, rounded character, quickly joined by enveloping blackberry that adds richness without tipping into excess. A savoury edge of appetising black olive slips in, grounding the fruit and keeping everything neatly in check. The overall nose feels very well put together, confident and clean, with enough variety to hold attention without feeling busy.
Taste Review
The palate follows through with enthusiasm but keeps its manners. Acidity sits at a medium level, providing freshness without sharpness. The body remains medium, making the wine easy to follow from start to finish, while the alcohol brings gentle warmth rather than heat.
