Visual Review

The wine settles into the glass with a pretty opaque depth, showing a deep ruby core that looks serious without trying too hard. Clarity stays firmly on the bold side, opaque and dense, giving the colour a sense of purpose and appropriateness for the style.

Aroma Review

The aroma comes through comfortably, offering a good spread rather than a single loud note. Black cherry leads the way with a deep, rounded character, quickly joined by enveloping blackberry that adds richness without tipping into excess. A savoury edge of appetising black olive slips in, grounding the fruit and keeping everything neatly in check. The overall nose feels very well put together, confident and clean, with enough variety to hold attention without feeling busy.

Taste Review

The palate follows through with enthusiasm but keeps its manners. Acidity sits at a medium level, providing freshness without sharpness. The body remains medium, making the wine easy to follow from start to finish, while the alcohol brings gentle warmth rather than heat. Tannins stay light, which helps the wine flow freely across the palate, and the medium viscosity gives it a pleasing texture without weighing it down. Dry in style, the flavours echo the dark fruit and savoury notes found on the nose, delivering distinct intensity without crowding the senses.

Balance is where this wine quietly shines. Everything feels aligned, allowing the moderate complexity to unfold naturally rather than demanding attention. The finish is long and pleasant, lingering just enough to invite another sip. The experience is genuinely enjoyable, not trying to be exceptional, but clearly knowing what it wants to be. There is also very good ageing potential here, suggesting this wine has a future beyond immediate pleasure. It does not chase fireworks, but offers a smooth, free flowing experience that feels confident, well crafted, and entirely comfortable in its own style.
