Visual Review

Fratelli Pinot Noir is the pale ruby dab of colour that will look good on any fancy evening photo. With a medium transparency and intense clarity, it looks both inviting and refreshing.

Aroma Review

On the nose, the wine delivers an average intensity with a delightful variety of aromas. There’s a playful mix of subtle red currant, banana, and bubblegum notes, complemented by more pronounced hints of red cherry and strawberry. This offers a good nose quality, making it a pleasure to breathe in these aromas.

Taste Review

When it comes to taste, this Pinot Noir presents a (too) light profile overall. The acidity, body, alcohol warmth, tannins, and viscosity are all chilling out, keeping things easy and breezy.

It’s dry, with a sprinkle of spice, a hint of red cherry, and some red currant for good measure.

The flavor intensity is there, but the balance is slightly off. The finish is ok, there’s a nice little red berry afterparty happening, but then, out of nowhere, a touch of bitterness crashes in, uninvited… This wine is light, easy to drink, and a bit on the watery side—perfect for when you want to sip something that won’t demand too much of your attention..

So, if we go a Pinot Noir that’s relaxed and unpretentious, that won’t age like a fine wine—but best enjoyed in the moment.
